The Privacy Manifesto

  • Zero Telemetry: Our desktop products do not 'phone home' or send usage data to us.
  • Product content belongs to you and stays on your device by default.
  • You are the sole custodian of your data, models, and API keys.
  • If you connect third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), their own terms and data-handling policies apply.
  • We do not intentionally collect, sell, or use your product content for training.

1. Zero Telemetry Commitment

Humanlyst AI builds true local-first software. Unlike most modern applications, our desktop products (ORION, E.C.H.O, FrameWell) contain **zero telemetry**.

We do not track your clicks, your usage time, your hardware specs, or your location. The software functions entirely offline and does not communicate back to our servers.

2. Information Collection (Website & Forms)

While the desktop apps are silent, our website and communication channels collect limited information needed to operate the studio and respond to your requests:

  • Contact details (Name, Email) you submit via the "Connect" form.
  • Product interest, platform preference, and message details you submit through forms.
  • Technical logs from our hosting provider (IP address, browser type) for security and CDN optimization.

3. Your Content & AI Processing

By default, all AI processing in Humanlyst products is designed to happen locally using models you download and control. We never receive your recordings, transcripts, photos, or project data.

4. Third-Party AI Models & Data Leakage

Some products allow you to optionally connect third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or cloud transcription services).

When you use an external API key, your data is sent directly to that provider.

Humanlyst AI has no control over, and assumes no liability for, how those third-party providers handle, store, or use your data for their own model training. It is your responsibility to review their individual privacy policies before connecting your API keys.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not store your product content, we cannot delete it for you.

Uninstalling the application may leave local database "leftovers" on your device for future re-installation. To completely purge all data, you must manually delete the Humanlyst folders in your OS-specific storage locations (e.g., AppData on Windows orLibrary/Application Support on macOS).

6. Compliance & Grievance (DPDP Act)

As an India-based studio, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act. You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of any personal data (such as your email address) that we hold in our website or communication systems.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy as our products evolve. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent changes.
