AI & Third-Party Models Notice
Last updated: May 2026
1. Probabilistic Nature of AI
Humanlyst AI products utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI systems that are probabilistic, not deterministic. These systems predict the most likely next sequence of data based on patterns—they do not possess a factual understanding of reality.
AI-generated outputs may hallucinate, omit critical context, misinterpret nuances, or produce highly confident but factually incorrect results. You must treat all AI output as decision-support material only, never as a definitive source of truth.
2. Human Review & High-Risk Use
You must not use AI outputs as the sole basis for high-risk, legal, medical, financial, employment, or business-critical decisions. Any reliance on AI insights for these contexts requires qualified human review and independent verification.
Humanlyst AI assumes no liability for business decisions, disciplinary actions, or legal strategies executed based on AI-generated summaries or scores.
3. Local Models & Hardware Stress
When running local models via Ollama or other local reasoners, your device may experience significant CPU/GPU load, increased thermal output (heat), and rapid battery drain. Running high-intensity models for extended periods can cause hardware stress.
Humanlyst AI is not responsible for any hardware wear and tear, thermal damage, or performance degradation of your device resulting from the use of local AI processing.
4. Third-Party API Data Leakage
If you choose to connect third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or cloud-based LLM APIs), your data is governed by their specific terms and data-handling policies.
Some providers may use API-submitted data for model training or retention depending on your subscription tier. You are exclusively responsible for auditing your third-party provider's privacy settings to prevent unwanted data leakage. Humanlyst AI assumes zero responsibility for how external providers handle the data you choose to send them.
5. Unsettled Intellectual Property
The legal status of AI-generated content (copyright ownership and patentability) is currently unsettled and varies by jurisdiction (including India and the US).
You assume all legal risks regarding the ownership, use, and distribution of outputs generated by our products. Humanlyst AI makes no claim of ownership over your outputs, nor do we guarantee that those outputs are eligible for copyright protection.
6. No Warranty for AI Behavior
Humanlyst AI does not guarantee the stability, availability, or continued performance of any specific third-party model or repository. Models may be updated, restricted, or removed by their publishers at any time.
We are not liable for model behavior, provider outages, API changes, or the legal compliance of third-party datasets and weights.
